Role: Tax Assistant Manager
Location: Nuneaton/Leicester
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: Competitive and DOE

Managing a portfolio of individual and business clients from a wide range of sectors, you will ensure the efficient flow of work through the department, whilst helping to develop and upskill other members of the team.

Overseeing all compliance work in an efficient and profitable manner, ensuring our clients comply with their tax and payment obligations and maintaining a positive support to the Tax Managers on various client advisory projects.

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, a proven track record of delivering an exceptional level of customer service and someone who is prepared to help build and promote our business by attending targeted networking events.

Role: Payroll Assistant/Bookkeeper
Location: Nuneaton/Leicester
Hours: 37.5 per week

Acting as the main point of contact for specific clients, ensuring assignments are effectively managed, and all deadlines are met, however challenging. You will also provide administrative support to the department and ensure that all databases and electronic information is accurately maintained. Basic bookkeeping duties will also form part of this role, such as sales and purchase ledger, VAT returns, accruals and prepayments and supporting month/year end procedures, where required.

You will have at least one years’ experience working in a similar role, the confidence to take ownership of your portfolio of straight-forward weekly and monthly payrolls and possess excellent communication skills. Good working knowledge of current stator payments and deductions (SSP, SMP, PAYE, NI, etc.) and an understanding of the current issues and changing legislation affecting payroll is essential. Experience of using Sage Line 50 and Brightpay is desirable.

Role: Audit/Accounts Manager
Location: Nuneaton/Leicester
Hours: 37.5 per week

With ambitions to further develop our audit department, we are now recruiting for an Audit/Accounts Manager to take ownership of a significant portfolio of clients. Being responsible for planning and budgeting for client audits (including staff allocation and efficient turnaround of projects), you will take the lead on complicated, large-scale audits, dealing with more complex technical issues and undertaking risk/control assessments to produce the final audit reports.

You will efficiently delegate appropriate work to developing members of the team and support them on more complicated queries. You will lead by example, meeting client and stator deadlines on time and within budget. You will have a proven track record of providing exemplary levels of customer service and successful management and growth of a team.

You will display exceptional levels of technical ability, learning and development skills, and high standards of values and ethics to demonstrate their ability to become a Responsible Individual for our practice. With a relevant qualification and at least four years’ experience working in audit, you will have an extensive understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS and the ability to support our Audit Compliance principle on Institute-related matters.

Role: Audit Senior
Location: Nuneaton/Leicester
Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking to further strengthen our audit department with the recruitment of an experiences Audit Senior. Ambitious and commercial, you will take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients, carrying out a risk-based audit field work and audit file completion, some accounts and tax preparation, managing and allocating work and supporting the development of the team.

You will lead on smaller audits, supervising and delegating to accounts trainees, delivering client information in a professional and timely manner and ensuring all deadlines are met on time and within budget. You will support the Audit Manager and other Client Managers on larger, more complex audit projects, ensuring that all statutory requirements are complied with.

You will possess good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, have a relevant qualification and at least two years’ experience of working in an audit role. You will also have the confidence and interpersonal skills required to identify and develop networking and new business opportunities.

Role: Semi-Senior Accountant
Location: Nuneaton/Leicester
Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking for an ambitious individual with a desire to become a Client Manager of the future. You will support your team by undertaking all elements of client accounts, tx computations, reconciliations, and analysis of balance sheets/general ledger accounts.

Ideally, you will have already completed your AAT qualification and be working towards achieving ACCA/ACA and we will provide training and study support for this.
