Paul Carvell

What does your job role entail?
I am a business strategist who is always looking for ways to improve businesses and maximise results. This encompasses both the creation of time and money. I love getting to know my clients, learning what they want out of their business, then helping them achieve that.

I constantly strive towards driving the SFB Group forward and ensuring that our clients and the entire team enjoy the ride.

One of my passions is strategic planning and I specialise in business growth and mentoring.

What is your idea of freedom?
Sailing a boat in open seas with the wind in my hair (what’s left of it!) I get a great sense of freedom visiting and experiencing new places, whether in the UK or abroad, with my wife.

My many hobbies include playing the piano and guitar, skiing, scuba diving and fiddling with gadgets.

What is your guilty pleasure?
You can’t go wrong with a (large) packet of Haribo Pontefract cakes!

Narinder Kaur

What does your job entail?
As a manager I have both internal and external responsibilities. I manage my client relationships and aim to provide a high level of customer satisfaction by giving them advice when needed and helping them in any way I can. I manage the smooth management of client accounts and supervising the accounting team. My duties involve planning and reviewing sets of accounts whilst maintaining effective communication with clients.

What is your idea of freedom?
Spending as much quality time as I can with my family – especially my two children. Going to the cinema, bowling and shopping are some of our favourite family hobbies. Taking time out with my close friends is important for me and usually this involves a lovely meal out and lots of chatting.

What is your guilty pleasure?
My guilty pleasure is definitely buying handbags. And when it comes to food, the sweeter the better.

Geoff Banks

What does your job role entail?
My job role as a Consultant revolves around advising and assisting both clients and staff when required. I specialise in all aspects of business management and growth.

For over 40 years I have been providing taxation advice, business development and succession solutions to private and corporate business clients, and my passion for this is as strong as ever. I enjoy sharing my professional experience with start-ups and all self-employed and owner managed businesses.

My desire is to see all my clients and team experience success and fulfilment so they can maximise their freedom.

What is your idea of freedom?
My idea of freedom is financial security and a quiet hour at the end of the day.

During my time away from the office, I enjoy gardening, decorating and looking after two cats.

What is your guilty pleasure?
The only ones I will admit to are red wine and whiskey liquor, though I don’t feel guilty. You could also tempt me with a sumptuous steak or cake.
