SFB are supporting multiple charities throughout the year. This month we are extremely pleased to support the great Doorway charity with a £400 donation.
Working with homeless young people in Warwickshire, Doorway started life in Bedworth with just 2 employees. They have grown over the last 23 years and have since relocated to Nuneaton with a drop-in centre enabling them to provide more volunteer opportunities. Recently restructured as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) they support young people aged between 16-25 who are homeless or threated with homelessness.
Doorway have launched their first crowd funding campaign, aiming to raise £5,000 for young homeless people. Every single donation they receive will transform young people’s lives and help them develop independent living skills for a successful future.
