Congratulations to Dean for a fantastic achievement in aid of Zoe’s Place Trust

SFB Client Manager Dean Cart has just completed a virtual walking challenge, covering double the whole distance of the UK, from Land’s End to John O’Groats, back to Land’s End.

The reason: fundraising for the Zoe’s Place Trust Hospice.

Zoe’s Place is an independent registered Children’s charity providing palliative, respite and end of life care to babies and infants aged from birth to 5 years with life limiting or life threatening conditions.

The majority of the support that they provide is respite care where support is often needed on a daily basis and 24 hours a day. The support that they provide also allows families to recharge their batteries and to spend time with their other children which is hugely important to everyone.

Zoe’s Place provides therapy to the children with the use of their onsite facilities, offer family support and counselling to families who’s children are poorly, arrange sibling and family days to allow families to spend time together and then bereavement support during the most difficult times.

Zoe’s Place in Coventry is a 6 bed hospice but due to the current level of funding are only able to currently have 4 babies at any one time.

Dean, who walked 1748 miles over the 11 months, has so far raised £580 for the charity.

If you too would like to make a donation, you can visit his Go Fund Me Page – https://www.gofundme.com/f/deans-fundraiser-for-zoes-place

Congratulations Dean on completing this fantastic challenge for a wonderful charity!
